Oct 17-25 were meteor showers and we would be able to see Scorpio star chasing Leo.
The start of the show was Thursday October 17, and my friends and I thought it would be cool to go check it out.
We went to the Culver City Hill where it overlooks Culver City and waited for something to pop up in the sky.
We determined what was MARS which is the smallest light in the middle of the sky above the picture of my friends and I, and we of course saw the beautiful moon which is at the bottom.
After 20-30 minutes of not seeing anything I thought it would be a good idea to head to the beach.
Once we arrived at Venice Beach the sky was still clear, but we didn’t see anything because the meteor shower didn’t take place until last night October 21,2013. You can still catch it until the 25th if you are located in a non fog, city-lit place.
