Alone, Yet Alive

When im all alone in silence
I wish it wasn’t true
The truth of it all I wish I didn’t yearn to know
The reminder of the individuals I can share with
Brings sunshine to the next day
The silent okays, and light in the angels eyes helps me breathe
For we’re still alive
I’m not forgotten, but I am forgiven

The pressure release of guilt forms a new smile on my face
